Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read about our formulas, compare them and order them, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not had the site audited by a third party, so we do not claim full conformance.

How we build the site

• We use real headings, lists, buttons and form labels, so screen readers can move through a page.
• We design for keyboard use, with a visible outline on the focused link or button.
• We give product and article images text descriptions, and hide purely decorative images from screen readers.
• We avoid putting text inside images and check that pages hold up when text is enlarged.
• Our animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

Some older landing pages and content embedded from other services, such as video players and payment forms, may not meet the same standard. We are working through them.
